About Us

ASM Classics was founded by Company Director Andrew Stapley.

Andrew has a long and successful engineering career in motorsport and the automotive industry. It was during his motorsport career that Andrew also had the opportunity to spend time with one of his passions, restoring a beloved Ford Escort Twin Cam. It was this project that led Andrew into the successful business of car restoration and since those early days, he has become an acclaimed authority on Ford vehicles and now also has the accomplished respect of being a leading restoration company on the Jaguar E-Type range.

In 2017 Andrew moved into new premises opposite Brands Hatch and with his highly talented staff now offers full restoration, re-commissioning, fabrication and maintenance services to all his customers. A brokerage service for clients looking for that special car together with a luxury and classic car storage unit complete this special facility.

Motorsport

With restoration projects taking place in the workshop, Andrew still puts his extensive experience and knowledge of motorsport to good use, offering mechanical support to a few drivers in the British Master Historic Racing Series.
